Abstract: Our doctoral dissertation is based on the Dialogic Theory, which conceives language as its dialogical nature and the genres of discourse more than particular modes of discursive communication, but also as modes of relation and world understanding indissociable from the element of authorship. The voice of the young researcher, in academic scientific texts of the Humanities, has been pointed out by discursive and textual studies to tend towards erasure, which adds to our research problem of the constitution of the voice of the master's researcher in written texts of the section of theoretical foundation of the genre of the dissertation. Our thesis is that the authors of the research inscribe their voices in the theoretical foundations in variability of modes, in different gestures of authorship. With the general objective of investigating how the gestures of authorship are given in the theoretical foundation of master's dissertations, the specific objectives are outlined in the sense of: (i) identifying the voices introduced and the points of view in the theoretical foundation of master's dissertation; (ii) analyzing the dialogical discursive movements in the theoretical foundation, which are movements of senses. The methodology is qualitative through the procedure of Dialogic Discourse Analysis, which does not propose a predetermined, fixed and replicable method, but rather an active and flexible analysis, which outlines a unique style of each dialogic analyst. The corpus of our research is composed of texts from theoretical foundations of two master's dissertations in the public domain, available in the digital repository of theses and dissertations of Capes (Catalogue of Theses and Dissertations). Both dissertations are from the field of knowledge of language studies and based on the dialogic theory, being one dissertation in the research line "Structure, Organization and discursive and textual functioning" and one dissertation in the research line "Multiliteracy, Discourses, Processes of Production of Meaning", coded in the analysis as DM1 and DM2. In this way, we seek to safeguard the identification of the authors of the dissertations as an ethical act in the activity of our research. Based on Bakhtinian concepts, our analysis mobilizes the following categories: voices, point of view, valuation and dialogical relationship. The data point to a triangulation of the author's vision (subject, society and culture) in the theoretical frameworks of both dissertations, and to the constitution of different gestures of authorship.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the enunciative subject in the identity and cultural dimension of
immigrants who experience the between-languages phenomenon during the early 21st century from two
perspectives: Grosjean’s (1996, 2013) theory of bilingualism which establishes modes of monolingual and
bilingual language to explain linguistic phenomena in bilingual speech; and the anthropological enunciative
view coined by Flores (2019) which is based on Émile Benveniste’s Theory of Enunciation (2005, 2006)
that reflects on linguistics which consider the human experience in their condition as a speaker. The analysis
corpus for this qualitative study comprises the linguistic testimonies of bilingual, bicultural Brazilian
immigrants residing in the USA. Data was collected through interviews conducted in the state of Florida,
employing a combination of semi-structured and semi-open questions. The aim was to gain insight into
how they perceive themselves as speakers in their ‘between-languages’ position. The immigrant is
presented focusing on the linguistic territory highlighting the imbrication between language, human, culture
and society: which can be seen in the conflicts experienced living in a relationship with two languages
(English / Portuguese) and with two cultures (American / Brazilian) in order to find themselves as subjects
in the new society they inhabit, which is also composed of a linguistic and sociocultural reality different
from their place of origin. In terms of methodology, this study adopts a qualitative approach with applied
field procedures for data collection. Transcriptions of the enunciative subjects’ testimonies from the
interviews were preserved in their original form. These transcriptions were then analyzed to uncover
evidence of linguistic alterations or transitions between different language systems. This process sheds light
on how immigrants, exposed to two linguistic frameworks, manage their thoughts, self-perception, and
expression as speakers. Similarly, it examines how the immigrant defines themselves as a speaker and exerts
influence on the language. The analysis focused on three Brazilian immigrants from diverse age groups,
independent of gender or occupation, who actively utilized both languages in their daily lives within the
USA. Therefore, the objective was to analyze the Brazilian immigrant as an ethnographer of themselves
from an enunciative-anthropological perspective. This involved identifying linguistic phenomena and
modes of language in the immigrant’s statement as well as visualizing what constitutes living betweenlanguages from the personal perception of the Brazilian subjects as speakers. Because this study falls within the realm of Human Sciences, specifically in the field of Linguistics, it is acknowledge that it could present the researcher’s particular perspective. However, the author has maintained an objective distance from the subject matter. While this study refrains from asserting absolute truths, it contributes to Benveniste’s theory
of enunciation, emphasizing the interplay of language in intersubjective and intersocial contexts.
Furthermore, it aligns with Flores’s (2019) perspective that language is an integral part of human
experience, revealing the essence of the speaker, as well as, Grosjean’s theory of bilingualism (1996, 2013)
provide avenues for engaging in interdisciplinary dialogues within these frameworks, extending into other
areas of the scientific universe.

Abstract: Foreign language teaching, especially English, has undergone several transformations over the decades, and currently, its evidence is greater than ever, thanks to the current discourses about a “globalized world” and job opportunities to those who dominate the language. As a result, there is a greater emphasis on its method, which generates discussions about its teach-ing approaches and methodologies, among them, the bilingual approach, which generated the growth of so-called “bilingual” schools which work on the belief that early teaching and In-tensive study of a second language leads to proficiency, better results, and other cognitive advantages compared to other students in a monolingual school. This dissertation aims to ob-serve the adoption of English language teaching from the bilingual approach in schools in Recife/PE, the effects of its lack of regulation and the curricular organization of these educa-tional institutions and to analyze the prospects for the adoption of bilingual teaching in Brazil, observing the pedagogical challenges for its regulation, performing an analysis based on the notes of Critical Discourse Analysis by Fairclough (2003 and 2016) combined with Bhaskar's studies by Barros (2015) regarding Critical Realism. The methodology used will carry out an analysis of the Curriculum Guidelines document for the provision of Plurilingual Education prepared by the National Council of Education and testimonials from parents and guardians available on social networks, to study their effects on society as well as on institutions and perspectives for implementation guidelines.

Abstract: We propose to carry out theoretical research in the light of freud lacanian
psychoanalysis and saussurean jakobsonian linguistics. In this sense, we propose that
the inclusion of literature as a didactic resource in the teaching learning process of a
forei gn language can produce, can affect positively this affective/subjective dimension,
since literature allows a release of affections and transformation of the subject., but
also because it is related to the art of telling and listening to stories, it allows a sound
experience with other languages, promoting the rupture of barriers that imprison the
subject to his mother language, minimizing his resistance in relation to the new
language. However, it is also important to say that, although literature can mini mize
difficulties in learning a foreign language, they will always exist, as the acquisition of
this new language occurs in a particular way for each subject. Thus, the general
objective of this research is to discuss the insertion of literature as a didac tic resource
in the teaching and learning of foreign languages through storytelling, considering the
subjective effects of this learning. And as specific objectives: to relate the acquisition
of the mother language to the foreign language, to discuss the subjective effects of
learning a foreign language according to the specific bond that the subject maintains
with his/her mother language and to reflect on the subjective incidences of learning a
language in the light of the clinical cases of Anna O. and W olfson, as well as the
biographies of Elias Canetti and Aharon Appelfeld.
The discussions undertaken reveal the subjective effects of a language and literature
as an important didactic resource because it allows a release of affections and
transformation of the subject, as well as through sound games it can contribute to the
entry into the acquisition of a foreign language.
