O mundo dos objetos: uma via de conexão possível para o autista?

This dissertation arose from our clinical experience and aimed to investigate the
function that has certain objects chosen by the autistic, prioritizing autistic autobiographies as
the field of analysis to reach the intended focus. In this course, we investigate autism and its
diagnostic specificities in its differences with psychosis, emphasizing in autism, the
foraclusion of the hole that results in the non constitution of a body for the autistic, since if
there is no hole, there is no edge. Concomitantly, we pursue the everyday object through time,
in addition to exploring some mythological figures that carry in their hands, objects that
identify them and carry a full significance. Because it is a research that has as its theoretical
weight, psychoanalysis, it was essential to go through the question of the object in Freud. We
consider it as equally important to approach the theory of the transitional object in Winnicott,
while we search in Lacan, what he, in his return to Freud, marked a difference and established
as object a. All this in the attempt to promote approximations and distances of these objects
quoted with the object named autistic by psychoanalysis. To achieve our goal, we carried out
a bibliographical research in which we investigated three autobiographies of autistic (Daniel
Tammet, Temple Grandin and Donna Williams), emphasizing the existence and the place that
these objects occupied in the constitution of these subjects, that is, their pacifying function,
because, faced with the unbridled enjoyment of the autistic, objects serve as a barrier, limit,
edge, protection, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of the social bond. Finally,
when we try to understand the relationship between the autistic and these objects that do not
pair with any other, since they are unparalleled, we were interested in investigating their
usefulness in the treatment of the psychoanalytic clinic of autism.
Esta dissertação surgiu de nossa experiência clínica e visou investigar a função que
tem determinados objetos escolhidos pelo autista, priorizando como campo de análise para
chegar ao foco pretendido, autobiografias de autistas. Neste percurso, investigamos o autismo
e suas especificidades diagnósticas em suas diferenças com a psicose, enfatizando no autismo,
a foraclusão do furo que tem como consequência, a não constituição de um corpo para o
autista, posto que se não há furo, não há borda. Concomitantemente, perseguimos o objeto
cotidiano através do tempo, além de explorarmos algumas figuras mitológicas que portam nas
mãos, objetos que os identificam e que carregam toda uma significação. Por se tratar de uma
pesquisa que tem como lastro teórico, a psicanálise, foi imprescindível percorrer a questão do
objeto em Freud. Consideramos de igual importância abordar a teoria do objeto transicional
em Winnicott, enquanto buscamos em Lacan, o que ele, em seu retorno a Freud, marcou uma
diferença e estabeleceu como objeto a. Tudo isso na tentativa de promover aproximações e
distanciamentos destes objetos citados com o objeto nomeado autístico pela psicanálise. Para
atingirmos nosso objetivo, realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica na qual investigamos três
autobiografias de autistas (Daniel Tammet, Temple Grandin e Donna Williams), dando ênfase
à existência e ao lugar que tais objetos ocuparam na constituição desses sujeitos, ou seja, sua
função pacificadora, pois, frente ao gozo desenfreado que experimenta o autista, os objetos
servem de barreira, de limite, de borda, de proteção, além de contribuir com a criação e
manutenção do laço social. Finalmente, ao tentarmos compreender a relação que se estabelece
entre o autista e estes objetos que não se emparelham com nenhum outro, posto que são
ímpares, interessou-nos pesquisar, outrossim, acerca de sua utilidade na direção do tratamento
na clínica psicanalítica do autismo.
