A pessoa com deficiência: reflexões ético-bioéticas e as possibilidades de inclusão.

This dissertation deals with the central theme on the issue of people with
disabilities and their possibilities of social inclusion. In this context, we will begin to
understand the vision of societies about the person with disabilities over the centuries,
starting from a mystical vision of a cursed human being, in the ancient age, after a
person worthy of clemency, in the middle ages. Then, placing them among the
excluded people in each phase of humanity, until we reach a humanistic vision, always
within ethical-moral reflections of how society has seen and treated these people. We
address philosophical reflections, ethical and bioethical reflections on the human being
as a vulnerable being, seeking aspects of care and otherness, so that within diversity,
these beings who are in fact excluded by their difference, can gradually seek their place
in a society full of prejudices. At the end, the discussion starts in search of greater
social and political participation, demanding affirmative action on the part of the State
and ethical conduct on the part of all people, facing the other (disabled) as their peer,
and in equal conditions and opportunities.
A presente dissertação trata do tema central sobre a questão da pessoa com
deficiência e suas possibilidades de inclusão social. Nesse contexto, começamos a
entender a visão das sociedades sobre a pessoa com deficiência no decorrer dos
séculos, partindo de uma visão mística de ser humano amaldiçoado, na Idade Antiga,
depois de pessoa digna de clemência, na Idade Média. Em seguida, situando-as entre
as pessoas excluídas em cada fase da humanidade, até chegarmos a uma visão
humanística, sempre dentro de reflexões ético-morais de como a sociedade tem
enxergado e tratado essas pessoas. Abordamos reflexões filosóficas, éticas e
bioéticas, sobre o ser humano como ser vulnerável, buscando aspectos do cuidado e
da alteridade, para que dentro da diversidade, esses seres que de fato são excluídos
pela sua diferença, possam aos poucos buscar seu lugar numa sociedade cheia de
preconceitos. Ao fim, a discussão parte em busca da maior participação social e
política, exigindo-se ações afirmativas por parte do Estado e condutas éticas por parte
de todas a pessoas, encarando o outro (deficiente) como seu par, e em igualdade de
condições e oportunidades.
