Abstract

Transhumanism – transformed into a religion of solutions – is a sign because by evoking the ingenuity of life as a code, it reveals the possible: future existences foreshadowed by the NBIC soteriological praxis – the “god to come” or the disruptive sacred. The noospheric spirit – the creative impulse that inhabits the most intimate part of human interiority – “extrojects” itself and gives rise to AI, a creature that breaks away from the creator because it is capable of autonomy, freedom and decision-making. The immeasurable forces, focused strategies and effective tools of bionanotechnology engender a new paradigm, cybernetic; a new belief in technophilia; a new religion, solutionism; a new superior being, the voidnado; a new worldview, earthly beatitude; a new aspiration, to live indefinitely. Transhumanism – the movement that brings together knowledge, investments and polymaths – is a response to the most deep-rooted desire of the bipedal consciousness of the universe, to overcome death; since the issue is not dying, but “stopping living”. The religion of solutions promises in the world beyond what eschatological religions promise in the world beyond. Although the preaching of invisible realities captivates a myriad of people, secular eschatology imposes itself as a horizon of meaning and meanings, since aging is surmountable and death is avoidable. What is stated is not fiction, but science of fiction.
