Sexual violence against children and adolescents still occurs in alarming numbers, despite not being commonly addressed. In view of this, clinical psychology needs to reflect more on this issue in order to better welcome and understand it. These reflections can be triggered in different ways, using expressive resources and taking art into account as an event — especially when it comes to group intervention. In line with this, we thought about how to be with the groups using fictional tales to broaden possible discussions, with the main focus being the clinical experience with this audience. The aim was to understand my experience as a clinical psychologist with adolescent victims of sexual violence, through group interventions in which I used fictional tales as a therapeutic resource. To this end, I set out to describe my clinical experience in therapeutic groups with adolescents at risk of sexual exploitation in the Metropolitan Region of Recife; I then discussed the context of child and adolescent sexual violence and the possible existential consequences for adolescents who are victims; I also problematized the very context of group psychological practice in the light of a dialogue with hermeneutic phenomenology; and finally, I reflected on the possibility of using literary stories as therapeutic resources that can contribute to the construction of narratives and meanings for those who take part in the group. With this in mind, I based my work on logbook entries alongside the interventions and short stories read in the group, anchoring myself in the thinking of authors such as Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt and Walter Benjamin, who permeate the entire work in an attempt to foster the proposed discussions. The conclusion was that the short stories could open up new meanings together in the face of the violence suffered.
