Item type: Item , Adeus maridos, de safo e sapa todas nós temos temos um pouco: relatos do devir lésbico.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2023-11-29) Lima, Rosangela de Araujo; Francisco, Ana Lúcia; Cunha, Marisa Amorim Sampaio; Passos, Maria Consuelo; Carvalho, Maria Eulina Pessoa de; Leon, Adriano Gomes deThis thesis work aims to understand to what extent lesbian women break with heteronormativity. I anchor myself, in a theoretical bricolage, having as primary sources the writings of Michel Foucault (1993a;1993b;1999;2011;2019ª;2019b;2019c;2019d;2020) and Judith Butler (2017;2019;2020;2021) on the theme of human sexuality as a linguistic construct of 19th century medicine, as well as the discussion on the sex/gender system which, through performative acts, both constitute a social construction. Evidently, the Contemporary Feminist Theory subsidizes the discussion filed here. I choose a methodology that makes use of a qualitative, descriptive, ethnographic research, using the following instruments: semi-structured interviews and field diary; the work was carried out with seven collaborators who had a heterosexual marriage, are mothers and today experience a homoerotic affective/sexual practice. I use Thematic Analysis, which is seen as an analytical method widely used in the field of Psychology, idealized by Virginia Braun and Victoria Clarke (2006) for appreciation and analysis of the results obtained, which reveal seven main themes: Difficulties of becoming a lesbian; values aligned with heteronormativity, such as praising the ex-husband as a good provider and for not having been adulterous and/or violent; the interest in women is of the order of contingency and chance; lesbian sex being more pleasurable than straight; latent interest in women before heterosexual marriage; suicidal ideation and search for psychological help when moving on to a lesbian experience. It is therefore possible to state that, in part, the women involved in empiricism did indeed break with heteronormativity. I believe that given the lesbian invisibility, this thesis promotes a discussion that is set: The theme of the existence of women who left the “comfort” of their straight marriages and adopted the condition of “lesbians”, as well as coming out to their offspring. I assess, however, that they are still linked to hegemonic discourses on human sexuality, gender roles and heterosexual marriage.Item type: Item , Considerações psicanalíticas sobre o trauma: da repetição há simbolização?(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2025-03-28) Stamford, Rafael Esteves; Donard, Veronique; Francisco, Ana Lúcia; Andrade, Ivo deThe work is presented in a context in which the author's clinical practice draws his attention to the issue of trauma, repetition and symbolization: inseparable concepts, encompassing what he calls “pathologies of acting”, understanding them as a “non-integration” of the traumatic experience. To this end, three chapters have been put together to meet the general objective of the work based on the specific objectives. The general objective is to analyse the relevance of the concepts of trauma, repetition and symbolization from the perspective of Freud and René Roussillon. With this in mind, specific objectives were set: 1- to study the evolution of Freudian theory on trauma and repetition from “Neurosis” (1895) to the notion of originary trauma (1926); 2- to understand the place of symbolization in the processes of subjectivation based on René Roussillon's thinking; 3- to show how these concepts are presented through the study of two works of fiction. Thus, the concepts of trauma and repetition throughout Freud's work were worked on using selected texts that shared the theme and increased the discursive value of the dissertation. Subsequently, Ferenczian concepts that complement Freud's were explained in order to give more support to the theory of psychoanalysis. Based on Freud's ideas, the notions of primary and secondary symbolization and primary and secondary trauma were also presented, which were coined from the perspective of the French psychoanalyst René Roussillon, who dealt substantially with narcissistic-identity suffering. As a result, it was possible to analyze two works of fiction: one literary and the other audiovisual. However, before that, we reflected on the era in which psychoanalysis was founded and the analyst's stance towards a modern society, which produces its own subjectivities. Nowadays, with the expansion of psychoanalytic theory, new sufferings can be encompassed by analytic treatment, but leading the analyst to change their classic stance towards these new psychopathologies, such as narcissistic-identity sufferings. At the end of the work, we reflected on the importance of research for both the clinic and the academic world, since we talk about what are called “difficult cases” and how the analyst's management can help those who suffer during their process, but also leaving the research open to questioning and new directions based on what has been presented.Item type: Item , A contratransferência como lugar de enlace entre epistemologia, ética e política na psicanálise freudiana.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2025-04-02) Santos, Jonatas Tiburtino dos; Donard, Véronique; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8052734442799527; Barros, Paula Cristina Monteiro de; Francisco, Ana Lucia; Fernandez, Elaine Magalhães Costa; Andrade, Ivo deThe main aim of this study was to understand how countertransference could represent a theoretical device that expresses the node beteen the epistemic, political and ethical requirements of psychoanalysis. As it is a question of articulating a concept, a theoretical and historically inclined work methodology was outlined with a view to favoring the path proposed in Freudian theory. In this way, the methodological outline led the order of priority in the presentations to begin with attention to the epistemic requirement, which particularizes the way in which Sigmund Freud conceived the production of knowledge about the unconscious throughout his work. This requirement underlined the relevance of the political and ethical parameters intrinsic to this and any other production in the field of knowledge, since they refer to the resonances of the auspices of power in human relations and intrapsychic privacy. Thus, as the exercise of power affects the psyche, its dynamics, inclinations and consequences are also noticeable in the meantime and are presented, above all, through the obstacles to the analytical process resulting from the affective mobilizations provoked in the patient and the analyst. In psychoanalysis, these mobilizations are called transference and countertransference. So, given that the proposed research was interested in countertransference from the outset, this concept was demonstrated through the theoretical path taken, with particular emphasis on the place of connection or the specific condition of possibility regarding the mutual incidence between epistemic, ethical and political requirements. Once this function of the concept of countertransference of representing a place of liaison had been sustained throughout Freud's work, the concept became the point of arrival through which it became opportune to make considerations pursued since the formulation of the main objective. Thus, through the study, it was possible to consider that this place of connection is of fundamental importance in what characterizes psychoanalytic theory. In addition, it also offers a criterion from which the psychoanalyst is guided so as not to lose sight of what Freud himself conceived about what a psychoanalyst is, through how he takes responsibility for the freedom inherent in his craft.Item type: Item , Envelhecimento: o que sabem e dizem os professores(as) dos anos iniciais da rede de ensino da cidade do Recife-PE.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2025-03-27) Sobral, Elba Chagas; Dias, Cristina Maria de Souza Brito; Silva, Maria do Rozario Azevedo da; Azambuja, Rosa Maria da MottaPopulation aging is indeed a global event that is occurring at an accelerated pace and has profound implications in several areas, including education. It is essential that issues related to aging are addressed early in the school environment, not only to educate the younger generations about the issues and challenges that accompany this process, but also to promote collective awareness about the opportunities and contributions of older people in society. Thus, interest arose in investigating the opinions of people involved in education about what they think about aging. This dissertation had the general objective: Understanding, from the perspective of elementary school teachers in the municipal network of Recife, what they understand and say about aging and the repercussions of these concepts in teaching practice. Specifically, the aim was to: Identify what teachers understand about aging, both personally and professionally; Understand how teachers incorporate their conceptions of aging into their pedagogical practice; Unveil the needs felt by teachers to implement the theme of aging in their educational practice. We used the qualitative method to conduct the research, whose instruments used for data collection were a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview script, answered by ten teachers, either civil servants or temporary employees, from a school in the Recife Municipal Network, regardless of age, religion and gender. The results were evaluated through the Thematic Content Analysis Technique. The topic of aging still seems distant from their daily practices, even though many of them are close to or already experiencing this phase of life. Although the topic of aging is rarely discussed in the school context, teachers are receptive and willing to adapt their pedagogical practices and discover a new meaning in life by experiencing the aging process. Based on these findings, it is hoped that this research will offer valuable insights into how to better integrate the topic of aging into school curricula and educational practices, preparing future generations for a more positive and informed interaction with the aging population.Item type: Item , Envelhecimento e cárcere: olhar do homem idoso encarcerado no contexto prisional.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2025-02-21) Vilela, Daniely da Silva Dias; Dias, Cristina Maria de Souza Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3528859018436620; Uchôa, Silvana Maria de Macedo; Rabinovich, Elaine Pedreira; Coelho, Maria Teresa Barros Falcão; Moraes, Priscilla MachadoThe general objective of this thesis was to analyze, based on the Bioecological Theory of Human Development, the development of elderly men incarcerated in the prison context. Specifically, the aim was to: 1) present the biosociodemographic data and the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) of the participants; 2) analyze the person's characteristics and the impact of incarceration on proximal relationships, considering the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, macrosystem and chronosystem levels; 3) identify the feelings experienced by elderly men in relation to incarceration, as well as the needs perceived by them; 4) understand the factors that facilitate or hinder the development of the elderly in the prison context. This is a qualitative, cross-sectional, exploratory and descriptive research study, conducted with twenty elderly men serving sentences in prison institutions in Pernambuco. The data collection instruments included the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), a bio-sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. Data evaluation was conducted through Thematic Content Analysis, following the stages of pre-analysis, exploration of the material, treatment of results and interpretation. The theoretical framework adopted - the Bioecological Theory of Human Development - allowed the analysis of the interaction between the four elements of the PPCT model (person, process, context and time) to understand the human development of the elderly incarcerated man. The results indicated that the participants, aged between 60 and 84 years, are mostly mixed race, with incomplete primary education or illiterate, of evangelical or catholic religion, and single or married. Only 35% are retired, with an income of one minimum wage, and have, on average, 4.6 children, who are visited by wives, daughters or sisters. The majority presented cardiovascular diseases, and impaired mental health, vision and hearing. The MMSE revealed a high rate of mild cognitive impairment, indicating the need for further investigation. Among the crimes committed, crimes against sexual dignity predominate, followed by homicide and drug trafficking, with sentences ranging from eight to 174 years. Feelings such as sadness, frustration, anguish, loneliness, lack of motivation, discomfort, humiliation and helplessness were reported; associated with the loss of freedom and disconnection from their identities, roles and families. The fundamental needs reported include health, privacy, own space, financial resources and social contact. The rupture with previous life and the failure to meet essential needs tend to interrupt the continuity of interactions and compromise human development. However, while many experience significant difficulties, others demonstrate resilience, adjusting to new situations and actively dealing with challenges. These results highlight the need for a prison environment adapted to the specificities of the elderly, in addition to adequate institutional assistance. Thus, meeting these demands is essential to promote the well-being, dignity and continuity of the development processes of this population. It is expected that the results will contribute to guiding professionals in the organization of projects aimed at promoting the quality of life and development of elderly people involved in crime, such as those incarcerated, or at risk of involvement. Furthermore, the aim is to contribute to mitigating the impacts resulting from the increase in the elderly population in prisons, by encouraging crime prevention policies and social and educational programs aimed at the reintegration of prisoners, with special attention to the Northeast region of Brazil, particularly in the state of Pernambuco.Item type: Item , Hiperatividade no CAPSI: a psicanálise na leitura que enoda corpo, linguagem e social da criança.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2025-03-14) Andrade , Luiz Felipe Oliveira de; Queiroz, Edilene Freire de; Barros, Paula Cristina Monteiro de; Carvalho, Gloria Maria Monteiro de; Vorcaro, Angela Maria Resende; Jerusalinsky, Alfredo NéstorIn recent Years, Brazil has had to worry about the dizzying increase in the prescription of Ritalin, needing to regulate its uses in CAPSi’s (Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infanto-Juvenil- Center for Psychosocial Care for Children and Youth), considering the increase and popularization of the diagnosis of attention deficit with hyperactivity. Furthermore, it was necessary to face the pandemic Covid-19, which deprived children from social interaction at school, causing an even greater increase in the use of screens and cell phones, raising concerns about childhood illness. In this context, this doctoral study resumes the treatment of hyperactivity through the transdisciplinary practice of care with two children of different ages both under psychoanalytic treatment with the author over several years in the CAPSi who were chosen for this metapsychological essay with construction of clinic cases for having put the the service team at the impasse to such a point that it raised questions about the continuity of the treatment and about the abandon by the family. The objective is to direct the treatment for hyperactivity in a CAPSi transdisciplinaire team, with the reading of psychoanalysis. Specifical objectives : how is a child’s hyperactivity structured not just as a diagnosis, but as a semantic field? What do these children’s moments of greatest impasse reveal? What interventions and resources are proved to be facilitating in the long term for the change of hyperactive condition? We used the case construction case methodology, based on the clinical fact and inspired by the case trace device to identify, together with psychoanalysts invited to participate in the Cartel for this thesis, the main interventions carried out and their effects on the chosen hyperactives children over time. The writing of the thesis is an investigative metapsychological essay on the Fredlacanian theory and its successors to find the treatment resources indicated by the transference that we support with other professionals on the team and by the conversation device in Cartel. The concepts of excitation, drive, attention, motricity, transference, acting-out and passage to the act were taken up, articulated with the topological resources of Lacan, especially the intertwining of symbolic, real and imaginary, as elaborated by Angela Vorcaro, so that the effects ot the interventions with conditions of specifying the line of proposals of direction of the transdisciplinaire treatment were subjectly located. The results indicate that the team must support the bodily aspects of what is put into operation initially by the fonctions of attention and motricity, according to Jean Bergès, when placing oneself in a trasitivist game avec other primordials who deal with the treatment of the subject or the subject to come. It’s also in the significant and literal aspects that stand out from each accompanied subject that the aforementioned functions can be (re)put into operation. This led to a discussion in the thesis about the use of the resource of writing with the child and its subsequent reading with the analyst, in a view about alphabetical reading and what can properly be considered a psychoanalytical reading in clinical intervention. The psychoanalytical reading must take into account the social dimension of the interventions with the CAPSi public, which is demonstrated especially with regard to the child who starts to receive assistance benefits. Despite many difficulties in sustaining treatment, these children who had their stay in the CAPSi questioned nevertheless showed that they knew how to use the subjectives resources gained later. When interviewed in the final stage of field research, one of them, already an adult, and the other, still an adolescent, proved that CAPSi is a place of subjective sustaining, from theirs insistents research for job and social ties, with interventions and singular denominations.Item type: Item , A devastação entre mãe e filha e seus destinos trágicos para a mulher.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-12-22) Alcântara, Elise Dobbin Mendes de; Barros, Paula Cristina Monteiro de; Queiroz, Edilene Freire de; Lima, Edgley Duarte deDevastation is one of the manifestations of the incidence of joy that stands out in the relationship between mother and daughter. As considered by Lacan, the devastation between mother and daughter perceives the daughter's relationship with maternal sexuality in the experience of the Other's enjoyment. In the maternal bond, as Freud highlights, the girl is intertwined with her mother's sexuality and seeks answers to her being a woman. In this work, based on Freud and Lacan, we reflect on women and the tragic effects of devastation between mother and daughter. Clinical listening to the significant concepts of “enjoyment” and “body”, linking them to the devastating destinies in a patient’s life, aroused our interest in problematizing the tragedy in the story of a character, which surprised us by the overwhelming nature of the mother’s joy of imprinting for her daughter a place that collided her desire, which we assume was not a enigma for her daughter. The general objective of the work was to discuss the devastation and tragic fates of a woman in the devastating relationship between mother and daughter. Research was carried out with psychoanalysis, which, starting from fragments of a clinical case and based on the psychoanalytic method of interpretation, proposed a narrative construction and analysis of the story of the character Gypsy Rose, which was referenced in the logic of clinical case construction. The singularity of the series lies in the outings that a character undertook for herself, standing out for the destiny she gave to her body in the face of the instinctual dynamism faced with maternal sexuality, the destiny she traced in the devastation with her mother, in addition to the constitution of a love life with her boyfriend after her maternal death, considering what was tragic in the relationship with the maternal Other.Item type: Item , O mal estar covidiano no Brasil: um ensaio psicanalítico a partir da pandemia.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-05-28) Assunção, Katarina Vieira; Passos, Maria Consuêlo; Barros, Paula Cristina; Vasconcelos, CarolineThe Covid-19 virus was a device of fear for all humanity, especially in the pre-vaccine period, which acted as a total deprivation event. However, the condition and experience of helplessness were only experienced by countries whose management of the health crisis was flawed, as occurred in Brazil. Through the propagation of fake news, that was former by president Jair Messias Bolsonaro promoted a split in reality, inscribing the formation of neurotic group states and psychotic group states. This mass phenomenon led to a polarization in social relations, which resulted in the unveiling of issues that make up two pillars of civilization, which are politics and religion. Until the Covid-19 pandemic, our culture's aesthetic mark was the discursive and symbolic silencing of antagonism, especially in relation to issues that touched on the aforementioned pillars, which became the protagonists of the pandemic experience in Brazil. The phenomena that were being presented at the clinic served as triggers for the present research, whose main objective was to psychoanalytically study the malaise in Brazil, following the pandemic. To construct an analysis of this problem, I made use of the Maturity Theory, proposed by Winnicott, as well as his notion of democracy and the concept of Civilization and Discontent, proposed by Freud. Furthermore, I borrowed what some contemporary authors wrote about the pandemic phenomenon in the light of psychoanalysis, such as Birman, Bollas and Quinet. In view of the analysis constructed in this dissertation, which proposed an academic essay in psychoanalysis, we are experiencing a transformation in the ways of living and feeling unwell today, which is why I suggest the term Covidian Malaise.Item type: Item , Sexualidade de mulheres idosas solteiras, viúvas ou separadas: concepções e atitudes de familiares.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-12-13) Neves, Virginia Lucia Costa; Dias, Cristina Maria de Souza Brito; Mariano, Tailson Evangelista; Pitanga, Danielle de Andrade; Schuler, Flávia de Maria Gomes; Uchôa, Silvana Maria de MacêdoOld age is something unique, a destiny experienced in countless ways. The individual who inhabits each person does not age; they are "timeless." However, the mirror contradicts this, and family members are often the first to deny elderly individuals their desires, particularly regarding sexuality, due to inherited historical conceptions. This thesis aimed to understand the perceptions and attitudes of single, widowed, or separated women and their family members regarding sexuality in old age. Specifically, it sought to: assess whether past experiences influence the sexuality of elderly single, widowed, or separated women; identify whether and how family members influence the expression of sexuality among elderly single, widowed, or separated individuals, from the perspective of the elderly themselves; propose a psychoeducational intervention with children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews of elderly single, widowed, or separated individuals to understand their beliefs about sexuality in old age and to encourage reflection and/or minimize prejudices; analyze, through the narratives of elderly participants, potential changes in family members ideas or attitudes regarding sexuality in old age, four months after participating in the intervention. The theoretical foundation was the Selection, Optimization, and Compensation Theory (SOC Theory), which is based on the Life-Span perspective. This was a qualitative, longitudinal study, with a purposive sample, including 10 elderly single, widowed or separated (SWS) women, aged between 60 and 81 years and 10 family members (all female), aged between 18 and 45 years. The research instruments used were: a biosociodemographic questionnaire; an initial semi-structured interview with the elderly SWS participants; a psychoeducational intervention with family members (daughters, granddaughter, and niece); a second semi-structured interview with the same elderly participants, conducted four months after the intervention. The results were analyzed using the Thematic Content Analysis Technique, and the main findings indicated that: 1) sexuality, in the perception of elderly SWS women and their family members, was associated with sexual activity, except for one daughter; 2) past experiences influenced the sexuality of elderly SWS women; 3) the participating elderly women reported that their family members influenced their sexuality; 4) the family members: i) most did not recognize the elderly individuals in their family as representatives of a past/ancestral presence still relevant today; ii) were unaware that sexuality is present throughout all life stages, including its breadth and importance in old age; iii) did not recognize that ageism, invisibility, and/or exclusion of elderly individuals could occur subtly, even within the family context; iv) were unaware that pleasurable activities pursued by elderly individuals promote quality of life and serve as a way to channel sexuality; v) reported leaving the psychoeducational intervention with more and better information about sexuality for themselves and their social-family circle; 5) in old age, to experience sexuality, elderly individuals make more selective choices based on their internal resources to achieve compensation; 6) for some elderly women, or separation represents a new status, bringing greater freedom and quality of life, while for others, pleasure is still experienced through sex. The field diary, containing both objective and subjective impressions from the researcher, was shared in excerpts throughout the presentation of results. Given these findings, the importance of family members having a deeper understanding of sexuality, its dimensions, and its role in the daily lives of elderly individuals, especially elderly SWS women—was recognized, considering the possible gaps or changes imposed by a new marital status. This study aims to provide social and scientific visibility to the subject, contribute to deconstructing stereotypes that have historically surrounded elderly individuals in this aspect, encourage other professionals in the field to conduct psychoeducational interventions with both elderly and younger individuals (especially family members), and produce educational materials based on this thesis to foster a broader understanding of sexuality among young people, adults, and the elderly people, especially family members; produce, based on this thesis, educational content material to facilitate broader concepts about sexuality for young people, adults and the elderly.Item type: Item , A experiência de mães de crianças com diagnóstico de autismo nível II ou III: uma compreensão fenomenológica.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-10-28) Falcão, Christianne Andrea Müller Marinho; Leite, Danielle de Fátima da Cunha Cavalcanti de Siqueira; Lourenço, Gilclécia Oliveira; Santana, Ana Maria deMothers caring for an autistic child often find themselves in situations where they are perceived, not infrequently, as atypical mothers, including in my practice, where I work with mothers of children and teenagers diagnosed with Autism. In this context, I question what constitutes this understanding of atypical motherhood and how it manifests. From an existential perspective, this dissertation aims to understand the experience of mothers with children diagnosed with Level II or III Autism, seeking to explore the meaning of motherhood in today's context. It reflects on the concept of atypical motherhood, discusses the understanding of autism considering the health/illness debate framed by Hermeneutic Phenomenology, and analyzes the experiences of women-mothers of these children. The narrative interviews with the participants were guided by the question: "What is your experience of motherhood with your child?". I also recorded my own narratives in my research diary. As a comprehensive framework for interpretation, I adopted directions opened by Philosophical Hermeneutics, which sees research as the possibility of weaving a conversation and the horizon revealed in this dialogue as a "fusion of horizons," uncovered in a comprehensive play. The narrated experiences are unique but converge in the fear of dying and leaving the child unprotected, as well as in the hope for the child's development. In the end, the insights gained throughout the research allowed for an expansion of the meaning of these experiences beyond the biomedical model and will contribute to reflections for the practice of health professionals working with mothers (families) of autistic children, including psychologists.Item type: Item , A experiência da maternidade para mães de crianças com TEA: será possível sentido?(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-04-25) Maia, Carol Serrano de Andrade; Caldas, Marcus Túlio; Silva, Cirlene Francisca Sales da; Mariano, Tailson Evangelista; Pontes, Alisson de Meneses; Fonseca, Ramon Silva Silveira daThis research aimed to study the meaning of life in mothers of children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). The study brought into its scope issues such as motherhood of autistic children, discovery of the diagnosis, proliferation of cases and coping with the problem. The theoretical basis for developing the research was Logotherapy by Viktor Fankl with his studies on the meaning of life. Regarding methodology, the research is characterized as a qualitative study, with a phenomenological nature as a cartographic method. Thus, four women were heard and answered a triggering question, narrating their experience of motherhood, diagnosis and coping. The results indicate that these mothers find meaning in mothering a child with autism, presenting, in many moments, the concept of actuation brought by Logotherapy. However, they highlight the fear about their child's future in a society that is very prejudiced and that is little prepared to receive and offer possibilities to those who are seen as different.Item type: Item , A experiência de filho(a) enlutado(a) de pais que deram fim à própria vida.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-11-01) Cavalcante Filho, Pedro Pereira; Barreto, Carmem Lúcia Brito Tavares; Amazonas, Maria Cristina Lopes de Almeida; Leite, Danielle de Fátima da Cunha C. de Siqueira; Dutra, Elza Maria do Socorro; Chohfi, Laiz Maria SilvaThe end of life emerges as a possibility of the human being from Antiquity to contemporaneity. In the face of such an event, mourning, as a response of human existence to the loss of a loved one, is also present, as a phenomenon, in the same period of time to which it was alluded to. The general objective of this work is to understand the experience of the bereaved child of parents who have ended their own life, and the specific objectives are: a) to briefly problematize the phenomenon of ending life and mourning in the West; b) describe the way "how" the grief of children whose father or mother ended their own life is being experienced; and c) to explain the comprehensive possibilities of the way in which the "hermeneutic situation" is presented in the narrative of the collaborators, in attention to the hermeneutic circularity, which points to the dimension of meaning. The research is of a phenomenological qualitative nature, illuminated by the assumptions of Martin Heidegger's Hermeneutic Phenomenology, especially those that deal with the hermeneutic situation and its coordinates – point of view, perspective and horizon. We interviewed five children, four females and one male. The methodical path was followed from the narratives of the collaborators and the diary of affectations of this researcher, to understand how each one experienced the loss of their loved one. In dialogue with the collaborators, the starting point was the search for explanations to justify the pain and suffering for the loss of the father/mother. The narratives draw attention for revealing the struggle faced by collaborators of the research to redirect their lives. In their singularities, they experienced fear, despair, sadness, anxiety, disorientation, helplessness, anger, guilt, memory loss, abandonment, judgments and prejudices. Professing a spiritual belief made it possible to elaborate the experience of grief with less grief for the loss. The support network, when present with the collaborators, was fundamental for the reception of suffering. We noticed that the stigma and taboo surrounding the end of life reinforce, in society, previous concepts, which can link the act to the profession of psychologist, as if this professional had the power to prevent the death of the person who decided to give up on life. We also observed that the media can amplify the event and generate, in society, popular commotion, making it difficult to carry out funeral acts, as occurred with one of the collaborators. This scenario was, and still is, the stage for several governmental interventions that seek to promote improvements in an area understood as a problem situation. In this regard, more than a decade ago, the transposition of the São Francisco river reached the Northeastern "Sertão" with the promise of mitigating drought aggravations and promoting development for at least 12 million people. Due to the magnitude and the way in which it is being integrated, the transposition has some consequences in the territories and in the lives of peasants affected by the constructions. In this dissertation, the main objective was to understand the experience of relocation in the Vila Produtiva Rural (VPR) Salão, in Sertânia/PE, of the peasants who were expropriated by the constructions of the transposition of the São Francisco river. As specific objectives, we sought to discuss the conditions of expropriation and relocation of peasants in the context of the transposition of the São Francisco River; to present indicators that characterize the situation of the Covid -19 pandemic in the Northeast; to map the experience of peasants dispossessed by the transposition of the São Francisco River and relocated in Vila Produtiva Rural Salão, in Sertânia/PE, in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic; and point out ways that can guide the intervention of psychologists in the observed context. This experience has as a background the Covid-19 pandemic, which, when configured as a crisis in the ethical, political, economic, cultural, social and healthcare plans, had repercussions on the living experience of these groups. The methodological path consisted of a cartographic investigation, in dialogue with Gadamer's hermeneutic phenomenology. The intervention/research modalities, to collect the narratives, were the Logbook constructed by the researcher and the Conversation Circle carried out with four peasants who live in Vila Produtiva Rural Salão, in Sertânia/PE. For the analysis, an intersection of the research testimonies with scholars is proposed, in order to reveal the plots that constitute the reality of the peasant men and women present in the research. This moment was organized into three constellations that were interpreted by Gadamer's Philosophical Hermeneutics. It was revealed in the narratives that the residents of VPR Salão deal with precarious housing conditions added to the violation of rights and the non-fulfillment of promises made to them, who were expropriated and relocated. In this circumstance, belonging to the place of residence is called into question, since the right to dwell is still conditioned by the policy of government representatives. Added to this, the Covid-19 pandemic shows itself as a crisis that exposes the vulnerabilities of this context, accentuating the difficulties of access to health. Finally, despite these conditions, the narratives point out to possibilities for us to think of ways to accompany residents in their ways of living in VPR Salão, as well as to claim and build decent housing conditions.Item type: Item , Uma compreensão fenomenológica hermenêutica da experiência do tédio: narrativas do setting terapêutico.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-07-17) Albuquerque, Tatiany Maria Melo Silva; Leite, Danielle de Fátima da Cunha Cavalcanti de Siqueira; Souza, Severino Ramos Lima de; Marques, Denilson BezerraBoredom throughout history has been understood as an emotion and, in this sense, it tends to be considered a momentary mood state related to changes in mood experienced by individuals in their daily lives. It is hardly framed as existential. Heidegger, when proposing this reading of boredom, points out that it can have three forms of presentation: embodied or materialized boredom; boredom with no apparent explanation; and, finally, deep boredom, the latter considered a fundamental affective tone, that is, a given tuning or tune between Dasein and the world. The present work is the result of an investigation in which we sought to understand the experience of boredom in the clinical setting based on the narratives of psychotherapists. The research methodology with a qualitative approach of a hermeneutic phenomenological nature was adopted. Data were collected through oral testimony from research collaborators, evoked by a triggering question. As a method of understanding and interpreting the statements, conversation and the construction of constellations guided by Gadamer's thinking were used. The results reveal that the phenomenon of boredom was revealed in two ways in the participants' clinical listening: as the main affective tone and with the predominance of other tones. In this context, the dialogical-hermeneutic dimension points to the possibility of the liberating character of clinical action that moves away from the parameters of modern technique and considers the particularities of being-there in its context and culture, being, therefore, attentive to transformations and seeking a deep understanding of boredom as an affective tone that reveals itself in different modes of existence.Item type: Item , O olhar dos pais/mães sobre o diagnóstico e o tratamento do TDAH atribuído ao seu filho/a.(Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, 2024-06-17) Fonseca, Alzirene Andrade da; Passos, Maria Consuêlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8776158790365624; Cunha, Marisa Amorim Sampaio; Silva, Rebeka de Paula Gomes daThe objective of this qualitative research was to understand the meanings attributed by parents about the diagnosis and treatment of their child's ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). In Brazil, ADHD was little known until the 1990s, when children with difficult behaviors at home and at school, who had learning difficulties or were easily distracted, were often seen as “lazy”, “disinterested”, “strange” or “restless”. Since the 2000s, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder has become one of the most discussed diagnostic categories in different areas of knowledge and in society in general. As a result, two interrelated phenomena stand out in today's society: ADHD in the DSM-5 and drug treatment. This study is not limited to the child's medical diagnosis, but also addresses the diagnostic criteria that promote psychotropic drug marketing techniques, as well as reports from fathers and mothers of children with ADHD who work full time, facing an excess of atypical activities. of modern society. The theoretical support provided the necessary basis and articulation to explore the problem presented. The research involved the participation of seven people, including fathers, mothers and guardians. In total, there are five families who have a child aged between 6 and 11 diagnosed and undergoing treatment for ADHD. The results showed that: 1) parents or guardians adhere to medication to treat their child's hyperactive behavior, since medical diagnosis, in general, is the first resource for treatment; 2) parents or guardians see school as an important space for the socialization of their child with ADHD; 3) parents or guardians dedicate themselves to caring for the child, taking into account the social context in which they are inserted. A semi-structured interview with fathers, mothers or guardians, in addition to a field diary, allowed the researcher to record her impressions during the research. The data showed that the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD tend to cause concern in parents or guardians due to the severity of the problem that arises in the family dynamics. It is hoped that the results of this research will serve as a basis for continuing further studies on the topic in question.
